About Free Zone Radar
An independent comparator of the free zones of the United Arab Emirates, built by reading every official site, asking each zone in writing what it does not publish, and writing down the answers.
Who is behind it
Free Zone Radar is published by Malik, its founder, from Dubai. The site is not a law firm, not a tax adviser, not a corporate service provider and not an agent of any free zone authority. It compares, it explains, and it introduces you to the zone you choose. The zone itself issues your licence, at its own published price.
One editorial rule
A figure appears on this site only if the free zone publishes it on its own official site or confirms it to us in writing. What a zone tells us orally waits for its written confirmation. Every page lists its sources. When a zone does not publish something, the page says so and invites you to ask the zone itself, rather than print a number we cannot stand behind. Prices change without notice, so confirm with the zone before paying.
How the site is paid
Free zones that run a business introducer programme pay us a commission for each client we introduce to them, once the file is signed. Zones that pay us nothing are compared exactly like the others.
How the ranking works
The questionnaire ranks free zones on your answers, criterion by criterion, and only last on price. The commission a zone pays plays no part in the order: a zone that pays nothing can rank first, and it regularly does. A regulated activity we cannot verify is never presented as a match.
What we do not do
- We do not incorporate companies, open bank accounts or file visas. The free zone does.
- We do not give legal or tax advice. Take local advice on anything material.
- We do not sell a zone's position on this site. No free zone pays to rank higher.
- We do not print a figure without saying where it comes from: an official page, or a written quotation from the zone, labelled as such.
