Offices and desks
Year two, and closing down
The two figures nobody advertises. A cheap first year means nothing if year two doubles, and nothing at all if leaving costs a fortune.
Renewal, per year
Trade or service licence AED 20,265 per year, AED 40,530 for 2 years with 5 percent off, AED 60,795 for 3 years with 10 percent off, AED 101,325 for 5 years with 20 percent off. General trading and business centre licences are AED 50,265 per year. Add AED 2,205 for the establishment card and the cost of your desk or office.
Closing the company
Liquidation is priced at AED 4,015 in the schedule of charges. The strike off application itself is free. Voluntary suspension, if you want to pause rather than close, is AED 5,000 for twelve months, AED 10,000 for twenty four and AED 15,000 for thirty six. Abandoning a package after the first step costs AED 10,000.

Binding terms
- A physical place of business inside DMCC is required. This is in the company regulations, not just the website.
- Audited financial statements are compulsory for every DMCC company, filed within 6 months of the year end, by an approved auditor.
- The regulations set no figure for minimum capital, only that it must be sufficient for the licensed activities.
- The packages are non-refundable, non-transferable and non-negotiable.
- Flexi desk use is 16 hours per calendar month, non exclusive, booked 24 hours ahead, weekdays 8am to 5pm only.
- Visa quota increases are only granted to companies occupying a physical unit, never to a flexi desk or business centre.
Contradictions on the zone's own site
- Prime Plus is AED 38,025 on the package page and AED 40,145 in its own terms and conditions dated October 2024.
- The visa quota per office type appears only in a blog article, never on a product or legal page.
What this zone does not publish
- The minimum share capital figure.
- Name reservation fees.
- The fine for late filing of audited accounts.
- The expiry date of the current promotional prices.

AED 1,000 back on this zone
This zone pays us an introduction fee, and we hand AED 1,000 of it back to you once your trade licence has actually been issued. You pay the zone exactly what you would pay going direct, we never take a dirham from you, and the cashback is only due if you filled in the Free Zone Radar form first.
