Renewal, per year. Every workspace price is labelled Year 1 with an unexplained double asterisk. No year two rate, no uplift rule and no licence renewal fee appear on any official page.
Closing the company. This figure appears only in an undated legacy price list whose other rates are demonstrably obsolete. No current closure or liquidation fee is published. Treat with caution.

Important to know
Rules that apply
- Minimum share capital is 1 AED for a free zone company and at least 250,000 AED for a public company.
- Companies must keep a valid licence at all times, and the registrar may wind up those that do not.
- An annual declaration must be filed with the registrar and at every licence renewal.
- All published workspace and government service pricing sits on the accelerator subsite, never on the zone's own site.
- Dtec, the Dubai Technology Entrepreneur Campus, is the startup campus of the Dubai Silicon Oasis Authority, not a separate free zone: its company formation page states that the flexi desk package includes a service licence, a desk in a common area and eligibility for two visas, and the licence is issued by the Dubai Integrated Economic Zones Authority.
- Dtec is reserved for businesses with technology at their core.
- Hot desk members must use their desk at least 36 hours a month, otherwise the authority may cancel the licence and the lease.
- The subsidised licence stops after five years.
- The application can be filed from abroad, but every partner must visit Dtec to sign the legal documents.
Points to confirm before you sign
- The zone's own about page says it was established in 2005 by Law No. 16, while the group site says 2003.
- The 2023 implementing regulations set minimum capital at 1 AED, while the legacy price list still states 10,000 AED.
- That same legacy list prices a flexi desk at 7,500 AED per year against 18,000 AED on the current page, with no date to separate them.
