FREE ZONE FILE
IFZA, International Free Zone Authority
What we think
IFZA publishes no price at all. Not a headline price, not a package name with a figure, nothing. It sells exclusively through authorised partners, and the price you pay is set by the partner from a confidential list. Every IFZA figure you find online comes from a leaked partner price sheet, which is why we do not print one.
Publishes no licence price at allPackages
No package price is published. No package price is published on ifza.com. The site map contains no pricing, cost or packages page. Every product page ends on a contact form. What is published: three licence types, commercial, professional and branch registration, and up to 3 activities per licence, commercial and professional activities combinable.
Where each line was read: product page, a commercial commitment on the zone's own site. Official document, a downloadable schedule, regulation or terms. Blog only, an article on the zone's site, editorial and not contractual. Not published, the zone does not say.
Visas
Offices and desks
Year two, and closing down
The two figures nobody advertises. A cheap first year means nothing if year two doubles, and nothing at all if leaving costs a fortune.
Renewal, per year
Not published. The terms only say the licence must be renewed on or before its renewal date, failing which fines, suspension and cancellation may follow. The amounts are not published.
Closing the company
Not published. The terms and conditions state only that closing a business must follow the free zone regulation and applicable law. No figure, no procedure, no timescale.
Other fees and penalties
Binding terms
- Minimum share capital AED 10,000, minimum share value AED 10, stated in the official licence application forms.
- The establishment card is required before any visa application and must be renewed annually.
- From 30 September 2025, every licence holder must file financial statements at renewal.
- Turnover above AED 3 million or more than 9 employees at any point in the year means audited statements are compulsory.
- The IFZA template is imposed. No other format is accepted.
- No mandatory office for basic licence packages, but a physical office may be required to raise the visa quota.
Contradictions on the zone's own site
- An IFZA article states there is no paid-up capital requirement, while the official licence application form sets a minimum share capital of AED 10,000. Subscribed is not the same as paid up, and the site never explains the difference.
What this zone does not publish
- Every price. Licence, renewal, offices, visas beyond the basic fee, establishment card, name reservation.
- The licence durations available and any multi-year discount.
- The refund policy and cancellation terms.
- The partner commission rate.
- The year IFZA was founded, and its formal supervising authority.
- Whether a direct sales channel to end clients exists at all.

AED 1,000 back on this zone
This zone pays us an introduction fee, and we hand AED 1,000 of it back to you once your trade licence has actually been issued. You pay the zone exactly what you would pay going direct, we never take a dirham from you, and the cashback is only due if you filled in the Free Zone Radar form first.
Figures quoted from the zone are left in the language the zone published them in, so you can check them word for word. This file is available in English and French. The comparator itself is in Arabic too.
