What we think
The most complete published fee schedule outside DMCC: licence, visa, penalty and termination costs are all in the services guidebook, with a firm closing figure. Only office and workstation rents stay behind a gated calculator.

Year two, and closing down
The two figures nobody advertises. A cheap first year means nothing if year two doubles, and nothing at all if leaving costs a fortune.
Renewal, per year
Year two costs the same as year one, AED 5,000 to AED 30,000 depending on the licence type, renewable within the three months before expiry, with an AED 1,000 late fine.
Closing the company
Closing an FZE or FZCO costs AED 6,500: AED 5,000 of deregistration plus AED 1,500 of newspaper advertisement. A branch costs AED 1,500. Published in two concordant official guide pages.
Other fees and penalties
Binding terms
- Every licence runs one year and must be renewed within the three months before expiry.
- No minimum share capital is prescribed, only capital sufficient for the licensed activities.
- FZE and FZCO companies must file an updated audit report each year, signed by a licensed auditor.
- Setup takes three to fourteen business days and requires a property settlement agreement and an immigration card.
Contradictions on the zone's own site
- A three-year renewal is quoted at AED 1,500 per licence type while the annual licence fee is AED 5,000, with no explanation of whether it is additional.
- The formation page states no minimum share capital while the employee visa guide requires AED 50,000 of shareholder investment.
What this zone does not publish
- Office and workstation rental rates.
- Trade name reservation fee.
- Establishment and immigration card cost.
- Any referral or agent commission programme.

AED 1,000 back on this zone
This zone pays us an introduction fee, and we hand AED 1,000 of it back to you once your trade licence has actually been issued. You pay the zone exactly what you would pay going direct, we never take a dirham from you, and the cashback is only due if you filled in the Free Zone Radar form first.
Figures quoted from the zone are left in the language the zone published them in, so you can check them word for word. This file is available in English and French. The comparator itself is in Arabic too.
