Offices and desks
Year two, and closing down
The two figures nobody advertises. A cheap first year means nothing if year two doubles, and nothing at all if leaving costs a fortune.
Renewal, per year
Not published. Renewal is invoiced individually. The official renewal form says only payment as per renewal invoice and lists documents, never an amount or an annual rate.
Closing the company
Not published. Only penalties appear: AED 5,000 for late liquidation instead of serving 90 days notice, and AED 500 for the newspaper notice. The base closure fee is never stated.

Binding terms
- Minimum share capital is AED 150,000 for a free zone company, with no minimum for a branch.
- Original audited financial statements, stamped and signed by owners and auditor, must be filed at every renewal.
- Licence fees are not refunded if the licence is cancelled during its term.
- Closure requires 90 days notice, or immediate effect only if the lease and licence have already expired.
- The licence only permits operating inside the free zone.
Contradictions on the zone's own site
- The official FAQ still states that no corporate tax applies, contradicting the federal corporate tax in force since June 2023.
- Business setup package pages remain live while dated effective from 1 April 2020 to 30 June 2020.
- The website terms assign jurisdiction to Dubai courts although the authority is a Sharjah government entity.

AED 1,000 back on this zone
This zone pays us an introduction fee, and we hand AED 1,000 of it back to you once your trade licence has actually been issued. You pay the zone exactly what you would pay going direct, we never take a dirham from you, and the cashback is only due if you filled in the Free Zone Radar form first.
